Waterside Retreat Bicycle Card (May Card Crafternoon #4)

To provide variety at my month Card Crafternoon, we dug into the Waterside Retreat DSP to make this fun fold card.

We fussy cut a bicycle from the DSP for the main focal image and stamped with a variety of stamp sets including the Scalloped Blooms stamp set and the small set from the April Paper Pumpkin box.
The main colors we used are Basic Gray and Cajun Craze with a pop of Pool Party.

My June Card Crafternoon will be 6/14, and kits are available if you can't attend in person.

Moonlit Flora Stamped Card (May Card Crafternoon #3)

The third card of May's card Crafternoon focused on stamping and coloring (with some die cuts added to the mix too).

This card was modeled after this year's On Stage After Hours stamping event but with an Inky Scrapper twist.

We stamped the ferns onto the Basic White background with Peaceful Pine and Old Olive and adhered to an Old Olive card base.  The ferns were die cut from Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, and Peaceful Pine.  The stamped die cuts were colored with Hydrangea Hue and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends and Golden Glow shimmer brush.

How do you like the Hydrangea Hue stamped butterfly with Wink of Stella shimmer?  This card sparkles in real life!

Save the date for June's card Crafternoon on 6/14!

Moonlit Flora Note Card (May Card Crafternoon #1)

Stampin' Up! offers a set of twenty 3 1/2" x 5" white note cards and envelopes that are a great value and canvas to work on.

Let pretty DSP do all the work like it does on this note card featuring the Moonlit Flora suite (DSP, stamp set, and dies).

By the way, this was the first card we made at my May monthly Crafternoon card class.

Who would you send this to?

April Crafternoon Card Class Card #4

The Cute As a Bug suite is back in stock!  I forgot to post this card from last month's Crafternoon!  For this card, we stamped the large flower cluster from the Virtual Cardmaking Retreat exclusive stamp set in Basic Gray and then paired it with Darling Duckling, Lemon Lolly, and Basic Gray Cute As a Bug bundle dies and stamped sentiment.

A little Darling Duckling DSP grounded the cluster along with some matching embellishments and white twine.

What do you think of the gray and yellow color combo?  What other colors do you like to pair with gray?

March 2026 Card Class #4: Cute As a Bug Bridge Card

At each of my crafternoon card classes, I try to have some type of fun fold to keep things interesting.  We created this bridge card with the Cute As a Bug suite collection.

Here's a close-up of the bridge (complete with Wink of Stella plus Old Olive, Real Red, and Bronze/Ivory Stampin' Blends).

The inside... without a sentiment yet because I'm not sure who's going to get it.

What's your favorite part of this collection?

March 2026 Card Class #2: Happy Easter Card

This card did not turn out like I thought it would as I began designing it!

When I'm stuck or I'm not sure if pieces are going together like they should, I will lay them out and take pictures to compare.  Here are the different versions that didn't make the cut:

A fun part of this card design is that arch was cut from the larger arch used in card #3!  All of the other supplies are from the Easter Joy suite collection.

March 2026 Card Class #1: Easter Stripes Card

Last weekend, I held my monthly Crafternoon and guided the ladies in making four cards.

This was a fun design to use up strips of the Easter Joy DSP and Pleasant Patterns speciality DSP along with the Easter Joy bundle.

PRO TIP: Mix Lemon Lolly and Pretty in Pink Stampin' Blends to make the peach carrot.
