Unfortunately I didn't have as much time to create since these were due right at the end of the school year (way back in May), but nevertheless I am pleased with the results. (The beginning and the end are the worst times for teachers!) Please come back over the next few days to see what else I made.
This "create" pennant banner was so much fun to make! I began by using the Ellison die cut machine at school to cut the pennants, both in the patterns from the Veranda paper pack and Creative Basics pack and also in plain old Colonial White (for the back). The other non-CTMH supplies used were the little clothes pins (found at Wal-Mart), but I did decorate them CTMH-style!
Since I liked this project so much, I cut out everything I need to make one for myself. Maybe I'll get around to finishing my own, one day! (As of this writing, the project is still incomplete!)
Supplies from Close To My Heart: Baroque Alphabet, Live Inspired, Love Birds, Authentic, and Grown with Love stamp sets; Veranda My Reflections paper pack and Veranda Creative Basics paper pack (which includes the Creme Brulee ribbon); Cocoa, Juniper, Garden Green, and Creme Brulee inks; Just Blooms paper flowers; brads; and so much more! If you have a question about something specific, please ask and I'll be happy to answer (though it may take a few days since I'm out of town currently).
Adorable! Hugs from UT...
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! I love your banner, and it is so like you to make such a fabulous project to raise money to help the children! Very sweet!
