Close To My Heart just keeps knocking it out of the park with each new two-month Idea Book, and the May/June Idea Book is no exception! This blog hop will feature CTMH Makers' favorites from the latest and greatest. (If you're already hopping, then you've probably arrived from Maureen's blog. From here, you'll visit Miss Carrie's Creations next.)
I am showcasing the Hillside Cottage Cardmaking stamp set, coordinating Thin Cuts, and paper collection. (I can't wait to scrapbook some travel photos with this collection and share with you soon!) One perk of being a CTMH Maker is early access to new products and Maker-only workshops, which is where these lovely cards came from. I can only take credit for following directions, so thanks CTMH Corp for these cute cards.Who knew that Flamingo and Paprika would be so pretty together? This card features a mix of stamped images, wooden shapes, and stickers from the Hillside Cottage sticker sheet. The first two cards both use scissor distressing on the focal image panels.
For this third card, I changed out the patterned paper but still think the card is cute. I used a journaling pen to doodle the border on the sentiment panel. The black wooden flowers are also part of the Hillside Cottage wooden shapes.
I am looking forward to scrapbooking with this collection and of course more cardmaking. Please leave a comment before you visit Miss Carrie's Creations next to continue the May/June 2021 New Product Blog hop!
