Tales of Hope Gala

A local pet rescue organization held a fundraising dinner recently, and I donated a set of 8 cat and a set of 8 dog cards along with a free stamp class for the recipient(s).  I'm pleased to announce that they were bid on, but the winner(s) have yet to contact me about a class.  I hope that they will.

H2H Challenges: Spring Forward!

With Daylight Savings time approaching, we're springing forward at Heart 2 Heart Challenges!  (If your area participates in Daylight Savings time, be sure to set your clocks ahead this Saturday, 3/10, and change those smoke alarm batteries too.)

My card isn't very "spring-y," but I went with a clock/miss you theme.  I had fun playing with my new Cricut Artiste cartridge and my new Hello Tweety stamp set.  I used the For Always paper pack, Slate and Ruby inks, and a pretty little Licorice gem.  The clock and roman numeral border were cut with the Artiste.

This Just In... (News Flash and a GIVEAWAY!)

Last week I mentioned that I had some exciting news to share, and it is...

I am really looking forward to this opportunity to strech myself a bit and share my love of crafting with a wider audience. My favorite Close To My Heart product is so hard to narrow down to just one! I fell in love with CTMH because of their stamps (and how you can reuse and reuse stamps), but I think I became a consultant because of their albums: a true 12"x12" size, with post-bound construction. The page protectors are amazing, and because they are hooked to your book, you can rearrange your layouts easily by sliding them in and out. I love how the inks match the markers that match the card stock. The My Reflections paper pack are amazing- instant art if you're in a hurry! CTMH also offers great embellishments to take your projects to the next level. Now they've added Studio J (LOVE IT!!!) so I can scrapbook my digital photos so so so quickly!

Maybe my favorite Close To My Heart product is E V E R Y T H I N G! LOL They truly have been a great company to be affiliated with, as a customer (fab products), as a hostess (awesome freebies), and as a consultant (ten years and going strong).
