How will you celebrate World Card Making Day? I hope that you make at least one card today!
Here's a little inspiration for you. It's beginning to feel like fall here, so I grabbed my stamp set called The Present. It has a beautiful flourish stamp with small leaves in it, so I repeatedly stamped it across the background using first Creme Brulee, then Sunset, and then Barn Red (working from lightest to darkest, stamping each color in a "stripe" across the page, and then overlapping the stamped images somewhat from color to color). I overstamped the single vine with leaves in Cocoa across the top and bottom. Does it feel like a blustery fall day to you? The sentiment is a perfect reminder to live each day to the fullest!
How will you spend your Saturday? We have plans to vist a few church bazaars and possibly one of the two nearby festivals. Of course we'll have to do a few chores too, and I hope to squeeze in a bit more card making or scrapbooking. Whatever the day brings, I will enjoy spending some time with my family!
Techniques: Rock 'n Roll; edge distressing; overstamping
All supplies from Close To My Heart: The Present stamp set; Olivia paper pack; Creme Brulee, Sunset, Barn Red, and Cocoa inks; Colonial White ribbon
