Normally we made four cards at my monthly Crafternoon card classes, but this month we made five projects, since the first project was a note card and I wanted to share a little treat idea.
Once again, we fussy cut from the DSP and used the April Paper Pumpkin stamp set to create this little lifesaver treat. The small zip bag was from past kits- a way to upcycle what would otherwise be thrown away!Stamping, scrapping, and paper crafting: create, craft, and connect at my classes and online!

Waterside Retreat Bicycle Card (May Card Crafternoon #4)
To provide variety at my month Card Crafternoon, we dug into the Waterside Retreat DSP to make this fun fold card.
We fussy cut a bicycle from the DSP for the main focal image and stamped with a variety of stamp sets including the Scalloped Blooms stamp set and the small set from the April Paper Pumpkin box.The main colors we used are Basic Gray and Cajun Craze with a pop of Pool Party.

Moonlit Flora Stamped Card (May Card Crafternoon #3)
The third card of May's card Crafternoon focused on stamping and coloring (with some die cuts added to the mix too).
This card was modeled after this year's On Stage After Hours stamping event but with an Inky Scrapper twist. We stamped the ferns onto the Basic White background with Peaceful Pine and Old Olive and adhered to an Old Olive card base. The ferns were die cut from Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, and Peaceful Pine. The stamped die cuts were colored with Hydrangea Hue and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends and Golden Glow shimmer brush.
How do you like the Hydrangea Hue stamped butterfly with Wink of Stella shimmer? This card sparkles in real life!
Save the date for June's card Crafternoon on 6/14!

Moonlit Flora DSP Card (May Card Crafternoon #2)
The DSP in the Moonlit Flora suite is absolutely gorgeous, so I designed the second card of my May Card Crafternoon class to feature the DSP.
I love how my ladies took the pieces and made the cards their own: some centered the rectangles in the middle of the card and others used different sides of the DSP. We used all of the pieces of the suite except for the embossing folder, and added a little Wink of Stella to the butterfly. The die cuts are cut from Mossy Meadow, Secret Sea, and Basic White.
Save the date! June's Crafternoon will be 6/14!

Moonlit Flora Note Card (May Card Crafternoon #1)
Stampin' Up! offers a set of twenty 3 1/2" x 5" white note cards and envelopes that are a great value and canvas to work on.
Let pretty DSP do all the work like it does on this note card featuring the Moonlit Flora suite (DSP, stamp set, and dies).Sunday, May 24, 2026
Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder Card
When I received my Moonlit Flora suite, I had to try out the included Fern & Flora 3D embossing folder. After running it through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine with Basic White cardstock, I rubbed Old Olive ink across the cardstock to create this card background.
I mounted the panel onto an Old Olive card base and added both Old Olive & Mossy Meadow die cuts. I stamped the frame in Old Olive and the sentiment and butterfly in Secret Sea. I finished the card with a few Dewdrops embellishments.

In Color Floral Spray Cards: Hydrangea Hue
No, you're not seeing double! I had to create the same card in multiple colors. Who can resist Hydrangea Hue?
I did fussy cut the large flower and adhere it just to give it a little more dimension (but I'm not sure it was necessary). What other color would you use to make this card?

In Color Floral Spray Cards: Barely Blush
The Floral Spray 3D embossing folder is absolutely beautiful (in my opinion), so I created this card using Barely Blush Two-Tone cardstock (with the coordinating dots).
The congratulations stamp (in Basic Gray) is from a past Paper Pumpkin kit.Which do you prefer?

You Deserve a Treat Card
Our daughters have both recently finished their first year of their respective graduate school programs, so I sent this to our faraway girl (our Pooh Bear) since she can't come home very often. It was actually the very first card that I made with the new Silly Old Bear suite.
On the Very Vanilla cardstock base, I added a Golden Glow panel, embossed with the Hundred Acre Woods 3D embossing folder that I swiped in Golden Glow ink. I die cut the focal image from the coordinating DSP and the Sweet Words and Labels dies. The honey pot and stamped sentiment are from the Sweet Old Friends bundle.Did you know that when products are unavailable (but not retired/discontinued), you can click a box on the product page to be notified via email when it is back in stock? Try it HERE for the Silly Old Bear suite!

In Color Fern & Flora Card
If you were able to catch my May Catalog Launch Facebook Live series, then you've seen this new In Color Fern & Flora card (and if you'd like, you can watch the replay HERE on YouTube).
I used the Fern & Flora bundle and all five of the new In Colors. Can you name them all?
(They are Barely Blush, Crisp Cantaloupe, Peaceful Pine, and Hydrangea Hue.)
Two-Tone cardstock gives you two shades of each color, so I had fun playing with the darker and lighter sides. Next time, I will use a lighter color for the stamped stripes (NOT Peaceful Pine). A Basic Beige cardstock base is a nice neutral as is the Basic Gray ink.

Silly Old Bear Baby Shower Card
For a recent staff baby shower, I created this Silly Old Bear tri-fold card for our team to all sign.
See below for detailed instructions on creating this scene using the DSP and coordinating dies. (The stamped sentiment is from the Happy Happenings kit.)The card base is Hydrangea Hue Two-Tone card stock with Very Vanilla cardstock and Silly Old Bear DSP.
You can find this tri-fold card design HERE if you'd like more information on how to make it.
I covered the other die cut panel with the fussy cut frame and post-its to create the horizon line.
I used a blending brush and Peaceful Pine ink to create the "grass."
One of the DSP has images that can be cut with the coordinating dies. I used washi tape to hold them in place to make sure they cut correctly. (If you don't, sometimes things can shift a little as you're cutting.)
Aren't they cute?!?

CASE the Catalog: Artisan Garden
At first glance, this might not look like the Artisan Garden DSP, but I fussy cut those pretty florals from that paper to CASE (copy and selectively edit) one of the cards in the new May-August Catalog!
I die cut three circles into the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Moonlit Flora DSP. After fussy cutting the three images, I colored them with a variety of mediums including Cloud Cover & Peaceful Pine ink with a water painter; Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight, and Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends; and Golden Glow shimmer brush. A trio of Golden Glow In Color flat gems helped to bring in more of the Golden Glow color and move your eyes across the card.Thursday, May 14, 2026
CASE the Catalog: Fern & Flora
For my virtual catalog launch last week, I CASEd (copy and selectively edit) the catalog to create this care with the Moonlit Flora suite.
I used the Fern & Flora 3D embossing folder to dry emboss the Old Olive background and then stamped a piece of 3" x 4" Basic White cardstock with the Fern & Flora stamp set in NEW Golden Glow and Old Olive inks. I layered the two die cuts from the Fern & Flora bundle, after coloring the stamped one with Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends and NEW Golden Glow shimmer brush.A trio of Golden Glow In Colors flat gems finished this off.
We will using this suite along with the Waterside Retreat collection at Sunday's May Crafternoon card class. RSVP by tomorrow please to reserve your spot to help me prepare materials. Thank you!
If you were able to catch my May Catalog Launch Facebook Live series, then you've seen this card (and if you'd like, you can watch the replay HERE on YouTube).

Thankful for You Moonlit Flora Suite Cards
The Moonlit Flora and Waterside Retreat collections will be featured at my May Crafternoon card class this Sunday at 3PM. I cut a piece of the Moonlit Flora DSP at 5 1/4" and then at 4" and 8" to make three panels. Here are two of the three cards that I made after cutting each panel at 1 1/4" to show both sides of the pretty paper.
I layered the DSP onto a Berry Burst cardstock mat and then added Peaceful Pine Two-Tone and Old Olive die cut pieces. One card uses a die cut, stamped moth and the other uses die cut flowers.Tuesday, May 12, 2026
Floating Panel Sea Card
This floating panel AKA double vision card was made with the pretty new Scenic Coast 6"x6" DSP on a Balmy Blue cardstock base. (You can watch the Facebook Live on YouTube HERE.)
It's hard to capture the pretty shimmer and shine, but trust me when I say that you are going to love this paper! The birthday wishes stamp is from the March Paper Pumpkin kit.
You can see this same card design HERE.
I'm entering this card in the Global Design Project challenge #gdp547 with the theme: landscapes.

Happy Graduation!
Our niece graduated with weekend with her Master of Science in Speech Pathology. We are so proud of her! I made this interactive Peekaboo Flap card with the new Artisan Garden DSP.
I began with a side-fold A2 card and layered the striped 4" x 5 1/4" DSP. I then used a square die cut to cut out the "mortarboard" from the front of the card and to cut an identical square of black cardstock. The polka dot swing pennant is also from the same DSP, and the sentiments (inside & out) came from a former Paper Pumpkin kit.
I used a white gel pen to create the white "thread" and used Basic White cardstock to create the tassel.
BTW, I have instructions for a similar card along with two other projects from the Mauvelous Lollies collaborative free to anyone who places a minimum $50 order with me HERE this month. Here's a peek:

Happy Mother's Day
Wishing all the moms a very happy Mother's Day! We celebrated my mom last weekend when all of us could get together, and I used the March Paper Pumpkin kit to create this alternative. (It was part of my May Pop Up Sip & Stamp Class, which used the three Paper Pumpkin cards plus this alternative.)
We used one of the envelopes as the DSP for this diagonal fun fold. The center square card measures 3 1/4" x 6 1/2"
Wink of Stella made the hummingbird sparkle!
NOTE: I don't recommend putting a large image that hangs off the top of the fold because it made the card hard to open (but at least it looked pretty)! Mom loved it.
We forgot to get pictures last weekend, but here we are (the ladies who were in town this weekend) enjoying a delicious brunch in a neighboring town.Happy Mother's Day!

April Crafternoon Card Class Card #4
The Cute As a Bug suite is back in stock! I forgot to post this card from last month's Crafternoon! For this card, we stamped the large flower cluster from the Virtual Cardmaking Retreat exclusive stamp set in Basic Gray and then paired it with Darling Duckling, Lemon Lolly, and Basic Gray Cute As a Bug bundle dies and stamped sentiment.
A little Darling Duckling DSP grounded the cluster along with some matching embellishments and white twine.
What do you think of the gray and yellow color combo? What other colors do you like to pair with gray?

Winnie-the-Pooh Card
When I saw Stampin' Up!'s May online exclusive Silly Old Bear suite, I knew that I had to have it, even though my personal Pooh Bear and Piglet are in their 20s! (Flashback: When I told my Mom that I was going to decorate our firstborn's nursery in Classic Pooh, she replied with, "Of course you are, since that was your nursery.")
That firstborn, our Pooh Bear, has just finished her first year in her PhD program at the University of Illinois, 11 hours away from home! I made this card and sent it to her because she does indeed deserve a treat. After dry embossing the Golden Glow cardstock with the Hundred Acre Woods 3D embossing folder, I swiped Golden Glow ink over the top. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the focal image.
Be sure to grab this collection HERE before it's gone (and even though it's temporarily out of stock, it will be back!)
