Balloon Festoon Fun Fold Birthday Card

This Balloon Festoon was a fun fold card indeed!

I die cut the two balloons from Flirty Flamingo cardstock and Barely Blush In Color Painted Patterns DSP then stamped the background images with Flirty Flamingo.

The card base is Strawberry Slush as is the Happy Birthday sentiment.

This will be a fun design to try to recreate with large dies.  I can't wait to see what you make!
 

Begonia Belle (July Product of the Month) Card

This pretty summer color palette is Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, and Crumb Cake.

Hot Foil Coming Soon!

Have you heard of hot foil?  It is coming soon to a demonstrator near you!  If you love the magic of heat embossing, then you are doing to be WOWed by hot foil!  (If you don't know what I'm writing about and want to know more, let me show you how!)

Cutest Crew Card Trio

For the Saturday card class that I mentioned recently, the second card actually had three choices with the Cutest Crew stamp set and colored pencils.

 Do you prefer the birds, dogs, or cats?

Scenic Coast 6"x6" DSP = Two Cards (Card #2)

For the other half of the Scenic Coast 6"x6" DSP, we cut a 3"x4" rectangle into twelve 1" squares to create this dropped tile card.

(I forgot to emboss this entire panel with the 3D Waves embossing folder!  It would look even better if I had!)

It was really hard to photograph the shimmer of the Sunset Shimmer vellum!  If you look closely, you might be able to see how I blended Blueberry Bushel ink onto my card base and the back of the vellum to provide a little depth to the water background.  

Again, I left this one blank and will fill in a sentiment when I need it.

Scenic Coast 6"x6" DSP = Two Cards (Card #1)

At my recent June Crafternoon, we made two cards using one Scenic Coast 6"x6" DSP.  The first card is a bookbinding card.

I love the addition of the 3D Waves embossing folder to the bookbinding edge!

I left this one blank (for now at least) since I don't have a recipient in mind at the moment.  It's nice to have a stash of cards just in case!

Painted Skies Sip & Stamp Cards

One Friday a month, I offer a relaxing Sip & Stamp card making gathering to create three kit cards (with add ons to enhance them, not that they need them!).  In May, we used the Painted Skies kit to create three trifold cards.

For the original cards, the die cut frames are all white.  I couldn't resist trying some techniques on them.  For the first card, I blended Cloud Clover and Blueberry Bushel ink and then added sparkle with Wink of Stella.

For the second card, I used Basic Gray and Basic Black cardstock plus In Colors Pearlized Paper (Golden Glow piece) for the lighthouse and rocks.

I will add a sentiment when I decide who will receive this card.

I used my Stampin' Write Black marker to color this scene.  I love the pop of Black!  Ink blending would also work.

I added the stamped birds from the recent Lakeside Retreat Paper Pumpkin kit stamp set.  Stretch your supplies as far as possible!

Cute As a Bug Stamp Camp: Card #4

The fourth card was a bonus that I added on from the original Stamp Camp because we had so many supplies left.  (I can't wait to see what everyone makes with their leftovers!)

(I've featured this fun DSP fold here before.).  I added a Mossy Meadow and Basic White die cut mushroom.

Cute As a Bug Stamp Camp: Card #3

The third card highlights using the dies available in the Sweet Bug dies or stamp set/dies bundle.   

We added some shading on the die cuts and colored the stamped images with Stampin' Blends.  I did add some Wink of Stella on the little bell flowers, but it doesn't show well in the photo.

Cute As a Bug Stamp Camp: Card #2

The second card from my Cute As a Bug Stamp Camp (more info HERE) was a Z-fold card focusing on fussy cutting motifs from the adorable DSP. 

If you look closely, you can see that we blended Soft Sea Foam ink into the background to help those images pop.

I love how the front panel overlaps the inside for a cute little "suprise."

Cute As a Bug Stamp Camp: Card #1

March 2026 Card Class #1: Easter Stripes Card

Last weekend, I held my monthly Crafternoon and guided the ladies in making four cards.

 This was a fun design to use up strips of the Easter Joy DSP and Pleasant Patterns speciality DSP along with the Easter Joy bundle. 

PRO TIP: Mix Lemon Lolly and Pretty in Pink Stampin' Blends to make the peach carrot.

Saturday's Card Class

Saturday I had the opportunity to meet a fun group of ladies in my area known as the Appalachian Women's Social Club and teach a card class.  (Thanks, Amber, for the invite and for the delicious catered lunch and your fabulous banana pudding!)

I think the ladies had a good time crafting!  I know that I did (and I also learned a thing or two).  I'm looking forward to getting together with them for some of the events and hopefully hosting quarterly seasonal card classes.  

Virtual Card Making Retreat ‘26: Card #2

The Virtual Card Making Retreat 2026 product bundle is still available, along with the instructional videos, and you will be amazed by how your creativity is stretched!  For the second card, we used the frame die in such a creative, unusual way!

We colored the flowers with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers (and were supposed to color the leaves that way also, but instead, I used the solid leaf stamp in Secret Sea).  If you look closely, you'll see "dew" drops created with the color lifter.

Do you enjoy coloring lined images?  If so, what is your favorite medium?  I am definitely still working on my Stampin' Blends (alcohol markers) techniques.

Virtual Card Making Retreat ‘26: Card #3

This beautiful tri-fold card uses two pieces of DSP (designer series paper) and some Berry Burst Two-Tone cardstock.

It was fun to use a blending brush to color the flowers and stamps to "color" the leaves.  The white matte dots were colored with Darling Duckling Stampin' Blend to turn them yellow.

I love all the stamped flowers!  We even added little dots with the Darling Duckling Stampin' Blend.

Virtual Card Making Retreat ‘26: Card 1

The Stampin’ Up! Virtual Card Making Retreat was incredible! I was able to complete a few of the 15 cards this weekend, and I learned so many things. I can’t wait to share in upcoming classes and events! 

This card features the exclusive Virtual Card Making Retreat stamp set PLUS a sentiment and dies from the {sneak peek} March Online Exclusive Forever Florals bundle (stamp set and dies).

Can you believe that there was no coloring?  Coordinating stamps colored in the flower centers in Darling Duckling, the tiny flowers in Fresh Freesia, and the leaves in second generation Granny Apple Green and Old Olive.

It's important to remember to stamp the inside of your cards and your envelopes!  This card also uses Cloud Cover DSP and Secret Sea (ink and Two-Tone cardstock) plus some white embossing for the sentiment.

I'm looking forward to sharing the card designs and techniques I've learned at future stamping classes/events.  Did you know that the retreat bundle is still available and that the videos will also be available for at least a year?

January Card Class #3: Easel Fun Fold Card

This easel fun fold card was, well, FUN to make at this month's card class!  We started with a standard A2 top-fold card of Petal Pink cardstock, then scored the center.  We added two pieces of Lovely and Beautiful DSP to accommodated the fold.  We made sure to only adhere the bottom of our large die cut flower (Simply Beautiful dies). 

We stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral and the pretty outline floral from the upcoming Virtual Card Making Retreat bundle in Petal Pink.  That panel was raised with Dimensionals so that it would stand prettily on a desk.

A few Pearlized Faceted Circles (self-adhesive gems) finished off this pretty card.  I'm looking forward to sending it to someone special!

January Card Class #2: Fresh Freesia Floral Card

At Sunday's card class, three of the four cards used the gorgeous Lovely and Beautiful suite.  (I LOVE that the front sides of each paper has gold foil accents!)  The first card we made with this collection used Fresh Freesia and Old Olive.

 It's hard to tell from the photo, but I blended Old Olive ink onto the card front and then flicked water from a water painter to give it an interesting texture.  The pretty flowers and leaves were die cut from the Simply Beautiful dies.  Adding Fresh Freesia ink with a blending brush adds such pretty dimension and texture!

I stamped the sentiment and the inside of the card with this pretty outline floral stamp from the exclusive Virtual Card Making Retreat stamp set in Fresh Freesia and added a skinny strip of Lovely and Beautiful DSP.

Coffee & Cards Kit Together: Calm & Bright

Last weekend, I held my first Coffee & Cards Kit Together at a local bakery/restaurant.  Ten people had signed up, but only 6 could make it due to the illness.  (I will be rescheduling with the four who fell ill as they are a group of friends.)  We had a great time crafting together with the (currently unavailable but will be back in stock) Calm & Bright card kit. 

This kit creates 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs.  Most of the ladies had never stamped before, so they definitely built up their confidence!

The only thing we needed that wasn't included in the kit was scissors to cut the thread.

Can you see the iridescence on some of the die cuts?  They add such a pretty sparkle (because the holidays should definitely sparkle and shine).

Two hours was not enough time to put all 9 cards together, so I will schedule better next time!  (There will be a next time, probably in January.  Let me know if you're interested in attending!)
