Last Thursday's Facebook Live (each Thursday at 7:30 PM) card creation was a quick and easy card design that used the new Summer Happiness washi tape instead of DSP (Designer Series Paper).  (You can also find YouTube instructions HERE.)

Thursday Live: Accordion Fun Fold Card

Each Thursday, I go live on Facebook Live at 7:30 PM, except that last Thursday was my husband's birthday so I went live on Friday.  Here is the accordion fun fold card that I made.  (You can also find YouTube instructions HERE.)

I paired the Valley in Bloom DSP with my Cute As a Bug bundle (still available while supplies last).
A few Stampin' Blends and some ink blending added pops of color.
Don't forget some Wink of Stella on the lily of the valley flowers and the bee's wings!

Get inky, friends!  Catch me tonight for my next Facebook Live at 7:30 PM!

Thursday Live: Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Card

Last Thursday's Facebook Live (each Thursday at 7:30 PM) card creation was an introduction to the new hot foil system!  (You can also find YouTube instructions HERE.)  I prepared for the Live by hot foiling two of the Butterfly Flight hot foil dies with gold foil on Very Vanilla Two-Tone cardstock.  (Two-Tone cardstock is recommended because it has a smoother texture than the milled cardstock with the solid color core.)

I used the coordinating masks to color the butterflies with Flirty Flamingo, Hydrangea Hue, and Berry Burst inks with blending brushes.

I matted this panel on a piece of Berry Burst cardstock with some pretty gold mesh ribbon as an accent.  The message will go on the inside.

Come back for more hot foil fun!  I will post the second card that I made, plus two more from all of the die cuts.

Get inky, friends!  Catch me tonight for my next Facebook Live at 7:30 PM!

Card Sketch + Cats

On last Thursday's Facebook Live (each Thursday at 7:30 PM), I created a sketch using strips of cardstock and a die cut of the cats from the Cutest Crew bundle.  (Not a cat fan?  There are dogs and birds in this adorable bundle, too!)

The sketch uses two 4" x 3/4" strips, two 4" x 1" strips (but the second one was replaced with the die cut cats), and one 4" x 1 1/4" strip.  I used Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, and Black Two-Tone cardstock along with Stampin' Blends.

My three kitties are featured in this card.
If you give this sketch a try, I'd love to see what you make!

Diagonal Accordion Birthday Card

Having our daughter home from the University of Illinois to celebrate her birthday was very special for our family!  I had a lot of fun creating this diagonal accordion birthday card for her on my recent Facebook Live (each Thursday at 7:30 PM).  You can also find YouTube instructions HERE if you're interested.  (Did you know that my customers get a tutorial for each of these projects?  Just place an order with me HERE!)

I love the soft color palette of the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP paired with the Balloon Festoon bundle (stamp set & dies).  I used Petal Pink Two-Tone cardstock also.

I love all of the pieces of this bundle!  We will have a "birthday party" at my July 12 Crafternoon to create all kinds of birthday projects.  (You're invited!)

Happy birthday to our firstborn!

Easy Gift Card Holder

My cousin's son's wife is expecting their first baby soon, so I made this gift card holder as part of their gift for their baby shower in Florida this weekend.

I created this card on a recent Facebook Live (each Thursday at 7:30 PM).
The belly band pulls off to open the card, which includes a small area for a message and a pocket to hold a gift card.

All of my customers get tutorials of my Thursday Facebook Lives (and other perks), so if you don't have a demonstrator yet, I'd love for you to shop with me.  Thank you!

CASE the Catalog: Fern & Flora

For my virtual catalog launch last week, I CASEd (copy and selectively edit) the catalog to create this care with the Moonlit Flora suite.

I used the Fern & Flora 3D embossing folder to dry emboss the Old Olive background and then stamped a piece of 3" x 4" Basic White cardstock with the Fern & Flora stamp set in NEW Golden Glow and Old Olive inks.  I layered the two die cuts from the Fern & Flora bundle, after coloring the stamped one with Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends and NEW Golden Glow shimmer brush.
A trio of Golden Glow In Colors flat gems finished this off.

We will using this suite along with the Waterside Retreat collection at Sunday's May Crafternoon card class.  RSVP by tomorrow please to reserve your spot to help me prepare materials.  Thank you!

If you were able to catch my May Catalog Launch Facebook Live series, then you've seen this card (and if you'd like, you can watch the replay HERE on YouTube).

{You can find the Moonlit Flora suite and coordinating products HERE.}

Happy 25th Birthday Card

How our baby can be 25 is a bit of a mystery to me, but we certainly enjoyed celebrating with her this weekend!

I made this diamond tower pop-up card on my Facebook Live this past Thursday for her special birthday with the Garden Poetry DSP, With You in Mind stamp set, a retired Paper Pumpkin stamp set, and the April product of the month, Eyelet Blooms dies.

I used both Blueberry Bush and Night of Navy inks (plus a little Daffodil Delight for the candle “flames”).

I used a few Garden Party epoxy dots as embellishments along with fussy cut balloons with linen thread strings.

Since the card doesn't actually open, I used the back panel for the sentiment and our message.

If you'd like directions, I'll be happy to point you to my YouTube channel once I get this Live uploaded there.

Floating Panel Card

This floating panel design is a popular one right now and was fun to recreate on my recent Thursday Facebook Live.

You need two identical DSP (or three if you have them and would like to make three cards).  I used the Thoughtful Journey DSP with Calypso Coral cardstock adn ink.

I also made this card using the same technique but with only one piece of DSP (cut into 1/2 inch strips).

It doesn't look quite as polished to me, but I still like it.

You can watch my video making this card HERE if you'd like instructions.

April Product of the Month Thinking of You Card

The April Product of the Month is a beautiful Eyelet Blooms die ($5 with a minimum $75 purchase HERE).

I had so much fun making this pretty card on my recent Facebook Live.  The sentiment stamp that I used is from the Forever Florals online exclusive stamp set (also available in a bundle at a discount).

I used White Willow and Shy Shamrock cardstock with Pleasant Patterns specialty paper (at a discount on LAST CHANCE HERE).  I highly recommend the Take Your Pick tool with die brush attachment to weed all of the tiny pieces (and to use the stylus end to push up the flower petals).

I ended up adding a few rhinestone basic jewels because I am out of Shy Shamrock embellishments (and this beautiful color will sadly be retiring at the end of the month).

Any item on last chance (with or without a discount) are only available while supplies last, so be sure to grab yours now!

Happy Easter!  I made this cross card on a recent Live on my Facebook page (Thursday nights at 7:30 PM ET) and wanted to share it with you.

I used Thoughtful Journey 6"x6" DSP with Country Woods DSP plus die cuts from Beautiful Gallery.

Wedding Card

Recently, we showered a teacher at work who is getting married soon, and my team opted to get her a gift card so that she could get what she needed.  Of course I volunteered to make a card for us!  I decided to make a 7"x5" gift card holder so that there was plenty of room for all of us to sign.

I started with at 7"x12" piece of Basic White cardstock that I scored at 5" and 2" to make the card fold and a gift card holder pocket.  For the front panel, I added a piece of the gorgeous Lovely and Beautiful white & gold DSP (6 3/4" x 4 3/4") along with a Petal Pink Beautifully Celebrated dies frame and nested Basic White frame, stamped in Versamark and gold embossed from the Forever Florals stamp set.  The flower was die cut from the Simply Beautiful dies.

The inside pocket is finished with a 7"x 3/4" strip of Lovely and Beautiful white & gold DSP and a 7"x 1/2" Petal Pink cardstock strip.  Only adhere the right and left edges to make the gift card pocket.

St. Patrick's Day Card: Woolly Friends vs. Easter Joy

St. Patrick's Day is fast approaching, and of course I wanted to make a card for each of my daughters.  I came up with a card sketch that I could use two ways and made them on my weekly Lives on my Facebook page (Thursdays at 7:30 PM Eastern time).

Are you Team Woolly Friends (left) or Team Easter Joy (right)?  Please be sure to leave your choice in the comments!  For both cards, I used the Woolly Friends stamp set, Easter Joy DPS and Pleasant Patterns specialty paper along with Nested Essentials dies, Shy Shamrock glimmer paper, and In Colors shimmer gems.  I created the hats with extra Shy Shamrock, Daffodil Delight, and Basic Black cardstock.

Since the bow from the Easter Joy suite was too big for the bunny, I used the one from the Woolly Friends bundle instead.

Please comment Team Woolly Friends of Team Easter Joy for these two St. Patrick's Day cards!

Angled Gatefold Card

On Thursday evenings, I go live on my Inky Scrapper Facebook page at 7:30 PM, and last Thursday, I created this angled gatefold card with the Lovely and Beautiful DSP and Simply Beautiful dies (with some input from my viewers).

This card is easier to make than you might think!  The pretty paper does all the work with a little scoring and cutting.

After the live video, I added a piece of Calypso Coral Two-Tone cardstock to the back to keep it sturdy.

Christmas Card CASE/Sneak Peek

The January-April Mini Catalog will go live to customers on January 6, 2026, and I had so much fun on a recent Facebook Live CASE-ing (copy and share everything) one of the beautiful cards using the {coming soon} Lovely and Beautiful dies.  Since I can't show you the inside of the catalog (yet) and the beautiful card I copied, I will share an image of the front cover to whet your appetite.

Since I am still in Christmas card mode, I used the Lovely and Beautiful dies along with the Beautifully Celebrated dies (both from the Lovely and Beautiful suite) to create this card highlighting Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce, and Daffodil Delight (with an Old Olive card base).

Feel free to CASE designs that you like whether you have similar products or not!

Pines Peace & Love Card (Facebook Live)

Did you know that each Thursday I go live at 7:30 PM (Eastern) on my Inky Scrapper Facebook page

I recently created this card merging the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP, Branching Out dies, and the Peaceful Garden stamp set.  Don't be afraid to mix and match your supplies!  Just because something comes in a bundle or suite doesn't mean that you can't stretch them across other collections.

Also, I have to give a shout out to my mom today for her BIRTHDAY!  She and my Dad are traveling, so we will be celebrating her birthday in style next week.  More to come!

Just for You Thoughtful Wishes Card

Did you know that I go live each Thursday evening on my InkyScrapper Facebook page?  Here is a card I made last week live using the Thoughtful Journey DSP (on sale this month at 15% off).

I added die cuts from my Painted Lavender collection. The sentiment is from Labeled with Love.

See you live tonight around 7  PM!
